A caretaker of a Hindu temple has remained missing for the last 13 days at Gourighona village in Keshabpur uapzila of Jessore district.
Shahidul Islam Shahid, officer-in-charge of Keshabpur police station, said Pradip Malik, 48, a caretaker of Swami Bhaskar Ananda Ashram Temple in Kathaltala of the upazila, had gone to Gurighona Bazar on June 4 for buying medicine and did not return since then.
Basudeb Malik, brother of the victim, lodged a general diary in this connection with Keshabpur police station on Thursday night.
Family members of Pradip are in panic as attacks on the minority community people are now commonplace.
